Question 1

Is my resume stored anywhere?

Accepted Answer

No. It is parsed in memory to run the analysis and discarded the moment you close the tab. There is no database, no training use, and nothing is shared.

Question 2

Will the recreated resume actually pass an ATS?

Accepted Answer

The layout will: single column, standard headings, no tables or graphics. Keyword match still depends on your real experience, which is why HireGrip surfaces the gaps instead of inventing them.

Question 3

Does it work for non-technical roles?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Marketing, design, operations, finance, teaching, healthcare and more: the job posting you paste drives the analysis, so any field works.

Question 4

How is the match score calculated?

Accepted Answer

Your resume is checked against the requirements the posting actually states: skills, years, seniority: weighted toward what it marks as required rather than nice-to-have.

Question 5

Is it free?

Accepted Answer

Every tool is free to use while HireGrip is in early access. Paid plans will come later, and anything you run today stays free.

Question 6

Can it guarantee I get the job?

Accepted Answer

No. What it does is make sure your resume represents you accurately and gets past the filters. The interview is still yours to win.
